For their third tour in Ireland, Serpentine presents Singing the Body Sovereign. A performance that centers the animistic body as a site of sovereignty. This work moves through the entanglement. Songs emerge from the wild syntax of riverbeds, from the vocalizations of medicinal herbs, from the root systems of ancient trees cohabiting the dark soil.

Through this weaving, we are invited to enter a sensorium where everything is in relation: breath moving between ancestor and descendant, the saltwater of the body remembering its ocean, and bone carrying forward the mineral poetry of stone.
